In therapy sessions, Mikayla has experience supporting individuals of various ages, with a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, friendship and relationship challenges, and supporting the development of social and self-regulation skills. Mikayla believes success looks different for everyone and fosters a caring, supportive environment tailored to each client’s unique needs. Mikayla is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, providing individualised support to help them navigate the challenges of these important developmental and life stages.
Utilising a holistic approach to wellbeing, Mikayla integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and mindfulness practices to support her clients. She works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, develop coping strategies, and enhance overall mental wellbeing.
